CME Online (June 2024)

Dear Colleagues,

I am sending you the e-blast notification of Category A CME activities for the month of June in the Google Calendar Format. Please view the events here https://rb.gy/mh0vl3.

eHKAM App

The Fellows who recorded their attendance using the eHKAM app during the recent Paediatric Update No.2 would appreciate that CME credits were registered within one week of the event.

Contrastingly, it often takes months before the Academy can enter CME credits from handwritten records.

You are therefore strongly encouraged to use the eHKAM app to register your attendance. The app can be downloaded here https://www.hkam.org.hk/en/initiative/ehkam . You may contact the HKAM if you have difficulty logging onto the system. Please Visit https://www.hkam.org.hk/en/initiative/ehkam for more information.

Missing or overdue CME attendance sheets

CME event organizers are required to submit all CME attendance sheets to the College within 4 weeks of the event for processing. A nil return is also necessary even if the event was not attended by any fellows.

Unfortunately, the College has not received up to one-third of the records of Category A activities.  Some of them are overdue for more than one year.

The College depends completely on the CME event organizers to return the attendance record.   We are unable to enter the CME credits of individual fellows without it.

All event organizers are reminded to submit the attendance sheets within 4 weeks after the event.

(The CME activity is abstracted from the event organizers on 27 May 2024. Members and fellows are reminded to contact the enquiries listed in the google calendar for last-minute alternations.)
