Child Protection Course

The Child Protection Course of the College was piloted in 2007.  Its objectives are to sensitize participants towards child abuse and neglect in clinical practice, to heighten awareness of child abuse as a worldwide problem with implication to the child and society, to facilitate the understanding of child maltreatment and to enhance the practical skills in child abuse management.  Successful completion of the Course is mandatory for College trainees who started their basic training on or after 1st July 2009.  The Course structure includes lectures, case discussions with pre-course study, role play and pre and post course quiz.
