MRCPCH Foundation of Practice, Theory & Science Examination (formerly Part I), 25 June 2025 (Wednesday)

Dear Associates, Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Foundation of Practice, Theory & Science (FOP TAS) Examination will be held on 25 June 2025  (Wednesday). Candidates wishing to sit this exam in HK must apply both online using the RCPCH website ( https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user ) AND submit paper applications to our College. Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Please also find an Application Form B for your use. Application period7 April 2025 (Mon) - 14 April 2025 (Mon) *Please noted that 15 seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis for this diet of exam. Options for sitting this exam1. Test Centre: the exact location is to be announced by RCPCHRemarks: Please note that there will NOT be any online invigilation option for this diet of exam.  Examination FeeFOP & TAS (both papers) HK$7,600FOP only (single paper) HK$4,700TAS only (single paper) HK$4,700 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Dear Fellows and Members of the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians,   Re: Subspecialty of Paediatric Neurology (PN)– Invitation for Enrollment of Training Programme (commencing from 2nd July 2025)   The Paediatric Neurology (PN) is now recognized as a Paediatric Subspecialty in the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians, it has been registered in the Specialist Register in The Medical Council of Hong Kong since September 2013. We are now accepting application for PN trainee enrollment for Year 2025. Please find the enclosed Training Programme Information and Application Form for your kind attention. 54th Exit Assessment, 19 June 2025 (Thursday)

Dear Members,  The next Exit Assessment of the College will be held on 19 June 2025 (Thursday). Attached please find an announcement, application form, FORM A and FORM B for your information. Members wishing to sit this Exit Assessment can send your completed applications to the College from 24 March 2025 (Monday) onwards until 11 April 2025 (Friday). Please be reminded to include FORM A (Record of Higher Training in Paediatrics) and FORM B (Checklist for Dissertations) in your submission. Both hard and soft copies of your dissertations should also be submitted. 1.For all trainees who started their basic paediatric training on or after 1 July 2009, a proof of completion of a formal Child Protection Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 2.For all trainees who started their higher paeditric training on or after 1st July 2020, a proof of completion of a formal Paediatric Palliative Care Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 3.Dissertations submitted for this Exit Assessment will be considered for the 2025 Best Dissertation Prize awarded by the College. Dear Associates MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (Part II) Examination, 21 May 2025(Wednesday) Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (AKP) Exam will be held in HK on 21 May 2025.  Candidates wishing to sit the above exam in HK please apply both online using the RCPCH website (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user) AND submit paper applications to our College.   Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Application period 12 March 2025 (Wed) - 17 March 2025 (Mon)   Examination Fee HK$8,800 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Attached please find an Application Form C for your use.    Options for sitting this exam Test Centre: the exact location is to be announced by RCPCH. Note: Please note that there will NOT be any online invigilation option for this diet of exam.    Remarks: 1. All theory exams have been moved to computer-based testing since January 2015. Please refer to the RCPCH website for more CBT information: https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/theory-exams-mrcpch-dch-how-apply 2. Sample examination questions are available on the RCPCH website for candidates viewing.  Candidates sitting for CBT exams are strongly advised to study these sample questions at this link (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/theory-exam-sample-papers). 3. Candidates can sit the MRCPCH theory exams in any order, and are allowed to take the Applied Knowledge in Practice Exam as their first MRCPCH theory exam. 4.
