MRCPCH Clinical Examination, 17-18 March 2026 (Tuesday to Wednesday)

Dear Associates Attached please find a circular detailing the application procedures for the above exam. Application period starts from 8 December 2025 (Mon) to 19 December 2025 (Fri). Please fill in relevant application forms and submit to College Secretariat with cheque before the deadline.  * Please note that a candidate declaration form will need to be completed and submitted with Application Form D. Examination Fee HK$16,600 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. **Please be kindly reminded the changing in eligibility criteria will start at 1 July 2024: Applicants for entry to the Clinical Examination must be holding posts and eligible to practice in Hong Kong and have completed a period of training at least two and a half years form the date of graduation given on their diploma of medical qualification. Within a five-year period before the date of the Clinical Examination, not less than 18 months of College accredited training and 12 months of unselected emergency paediatric patients. Please note that candidates have a period of 7 years to complete the Clinical Examination from the date he/she passed all of the theory examinations. There is no limit to the number of attempts.  If candidates are not able to pass the Clinical Examination within the seven years, he/she has to re-sit the Applied Knowledge in Practice Examination in order to take the Clinical Examination again. Dear Associates, Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Foundation of Practice, Theory & Science (FOP TAS) Examination will be held on 18 February 2026  (Wednesday). Candidates wishing to sit this exam in HK must apply both online using the RCPCH website ( https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user ) AND submit paper applications to our College. Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Please also find an Application Form B for your use. Application period1 December 2025 (Mon) - 8 December 2025 (Mon) *for applications for online invigilation, closing date is 5 December 2025 (Friday) *20 seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis for this diet of exam. Subspecialty of Paediatric Cardiology - Invitation for Enrollment of PC Training Programme

Dear Members and Fellows of the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians,   It is our pleasure to inform you that Paediatric Cardiology (PC) is inviting applicants to apply for training in the PC subspecialty. The PC has been recognized as a Paediatric Subspecialty in the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. It has been registered in the Specialist Register in The Medical Council of Hong Kong since April 2025 with specialty code of S68.   We are now calling for enrolment of PC trainees for the programme commencing in year 2026. The PC Subspecialty Board now invites application from trainees for enrollment in the Training Programme. Please find the enclosed file of Application Information and Application Form and the Training Curriculum. A concrete 3-year training pathway plan should be submitted during application. Application period 27 October 2025 (Mon) - 3 November 2025 (Mon) *for applications for online invigilation, closing date is 31 October 2025 (Friday)   Examination Fee HK$8,800 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. 55th Exit Assessment, 18 December 2025 (Thursday)

Dear Members,  The next Exit Assessment of the College will be held on 18 December 2025 (Thursday). Attached please find an announcement, application form, FORM A and FORM B for your information. Members wishing to sit this Exit Assessment can send your completed applications to the College from 22 September 2025 (Monday) onwards until 10 October 2025 (Friday).  Please be reminded to include FORM A (Record of Higher Training in Paediatrics) and FORM B (Checklist for Dissertations) in your submission. Both hard and soft copies of your dissertations should also be submitted. 1.For all trainees who started their basic paediatric training on or after 1 July 2009, a proof of completion of a formal Child Protection Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 2.For all trainees who started their higher paeditric training on or after 1st July 2020, a proof of completion of a formal Paediatric Palliative Care Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 3.Dissertations submitted for this Exit Assessment will be considered for the 2026 Best Dissertation Prize awarded by the College.
