Dear Associates MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (previously Part II) Examination, 17 May (Wednesday) Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (AKP) Exam will be held in HK on 17 May 2023. Candidates wishing to sit the above exam in HK please apply both online using the RCPCH website (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user) AND submit paper applications to our College. Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Application period 6 March 2023 (Mon) - 20 March 2023 (MON) Examination Fee HK$8,800 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Attached please find an Application Form C for your use. Options for sitting this exam At your own home or workplace with online invigilation (pls refer to online invigilation quick guide attached) Note: Please note that there will NOT be any test centre option for this diet of exam. If you encounter difficulty in taking the exam in online invigilation format, please consider taking the same exam in Sep 2023 which the test centre option is expected to open at that time. Remarks: 1. All theory exams have been moved to computer-based testing since January 2015. Sample examination questions are available on the RCPCH website for candidates viewing. Candidates can sit the MRCPCH theory exams in any order, and are allowed to take the Applied Knowledge in Practice Exam as their first MRCPCH theory exam. 4. You do not need to wait until a specific examination opens to apply for an RCPCH online account. CME Online (Feb 2023) Dear Colleagues, I am sending you the e-blast notification of the Category A CME activities of the month of February. The College secretariat would like to remind all fellows, members and associates to keep their contact information up to date. This will ensure that your CME credits can be traced back to you. I would like to draw your attention also to the point that all Category A CME organizers (professional societies, associations, studies groups etc) are required to return the attendance record of a CME activity within four weeks. The College will credit the relevant merits to the individual usually within weeks. Dear Associates, Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Foundation of Practice, Theory & Science (FOP TAS) Examination will be held on 15 February 2023 (Wednesday). Candidates wishing to sit this exam in HK must apply both online using the RCPCH website ( https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user ) AND submit paper applications to our College. Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Please also find an Application Form B for your use. Online Application period7 December 2022 (Wed) - 19th December 2022 (Mon) Options for sitting this exam1. At a test centre in person, or2. At your own home or workplace with online invigilation (online invigilation guide) Note: If there is not enough enrollment of test centre option, RCPCH reserves the right to cancel test centre option and transfer candidates to online invigilation option. Examination FeeFOP & TAS (both papers) HK$7,600FOP only (single paper) HK$4,700TAS only (single paper) HK$4,700 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. You are strongly advised to submit your online application promptly. Those candidates who have never taken an exam with the RCPCH and/or do not have an RCPCH number are advised to first register with the RCPCH well before the application period. You do not need to wait until a specific examination opens to apply for an RCPCH online account. A RCPCH number is needed in order to access the online application forms for exams.
