Dear Associates Attached please find a circular detailing the application procedures for the above exam. Application period starts from 12 July 2023 (Wed) to 26 July 2023 (Wed). Please fill in relevant application forms and submit to College Secretariat with cheque before the deadline.  * Please note that a candidate declaration form will need to be completed and submitted with Application Form D. Examination Fee HK$16,600 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Please note that candidates have a period of 7 years to complete the Clinical Examination from the date he/she passed all of the theory examinations. There is no limit to the number of attempts.  If candidates are not able to pass the Clinical Examination within the seven years, he/she has to re-sit the Applied Knowledge in Practice Examination in order to take the Clinical Examination again. MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (Part II) Examination, 20 Sept 2023 (Wednesday)

Dear Associates MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (previously Part II) Examination, 20 September 2023 (Wednesday) Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (AKP) Exam will be held in HK on 20 September 2023.  Candidates wishing to sit the above exam in HK please apply both online using the RCPCH website (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user) AND submit paper applications to our College.   Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Application period 5 July 2023 - 17 July 2023   Examination Fee HK$8,800 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Attached please find an Application Form C for your use.    Options for sitting this exam At a test centre in person Note: Only Test Centre format will be available for this diet of exam   Remarks: 1. All theory exams have been moved to computer-based testing since January 2015. Sample examination questions are available on the RCPCH website for candidates viewing.  Candidates sitting for CBT exams are strongly advised to study these sample questions at this link (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/theory-exam-sample-papers). 3. Candidates can sit the MRCPCH theory exams in any order, and are allowed to take the Applied Knowledge in Practice Exam as their first MRCPCH theory exam. 4. Those candidates who have never taken an exam with the RCPCH and/or do not have an RCPCH number are advised to first register for an exam account with the RCPCH any time before the application period (preferably 10 working days before the application period opens).  You do not need to wait until a specific examination opens to apply for an RCPCH online account.  You are not able to apply for any exams online until your registration for an exam account is accepted. 5. Dear Fellows and Members of the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians,   Re:   Subspecialty of Paediatric Neurology (PN) – Invitation for Enrollment of Training Programme (commencing from 3rd July 2023)   The Paediatric Neurology (PN) is now recognized as a Paediatric Subspecialty in the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians, it has been registered in the Specialist Register in The Medical Council of Hong Kong since September 2013. We are now calling for application enrollment of PN trainees for Year 2023. Please kindly find enclosed files of Training Programme Information and Application Form for your kind attention. MRCPCH Foundation of Practice, Theory & Science Examination (formerly Part I), 21 June 2023 (Wednesday)

Dear Associates, Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Foundation of Practice, Theory & Science (FOP TAS) Examination will be held on 21 June 2023  (Wednesday). Candidates wishing to sit this exam in HK must apply both online using the RCPCH website ( https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user ) AND submit paper applications to our College. Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Please also find an Application Form B for your use. Online Application period5 April 2023 - 17 April 2023 Options for sitting this exam1. At your own home or workplace with online invigilation(online invigilation guide)Remarks: Please note that there will NOT be any test centre option for this diet of exam.  Examination FeeFOP & TAS (both papers) HK$7,600FOP only (single paper) HK$4,700TAS only (single paper) HK$4,700 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. You are strongly advised to submit your online application promptly. 50th Exit Assessment, 15 June 2023 (Thursday)

Dear Members, The next Exit Assessment of the College will be held on 15 June 2023 (Thursday). Attached please find an announcement, application form, FORM A and FORM B for your information. Members wishing to sit this Exit Assessment can send your completed applications to the College from 24 March 2023 (Friday) onwards until 25 April 2023 (Tuesday). Please be reminded to include FORM A (Record of Higher Training in Paediatrics) and FORM B (Checklist for Dissertations) in your submission. Both hard and soft copies of your dissertations should also be submitted. 1.For all trainees who started their basic paediatric training on or after 1 July 2009, a proof of completion of a formal Child Protection Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 2.For all trainees who started their higher paeditric training on or after 1st July 2020, a proof of completion of a formal Paediatric Palliative Care Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 3.Dissertations submitted for this Exit Assessment will be considered for the 2023 Best Dissertation Prize awarded by the College.
