Dear Associates Attached please find a circular detailing the application procedures for the above exam. Application period starts from 15 November 2022 (Tuesday) to 5 December 2022 (Monday). Please fill in relevant application forms and submit to College Secretariat with cheque before the deadline. * Please note that a candidate declaration form will need to be completed and submitted with Application Form D. Examination Fee HK$16,600 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Please note that candidates have a period of 7 years to complete the Clinical Examination from the date he/she passed all of the theory examinations. There is no limit to the number of attempts. If candidates are not able to pass the Clinical Examination within the seven years, he/she has to re-sit the Applied Knowledge in Practice Examination in order to take the Clinical Examination again. If the 2020 – 2022 cycle is not your first CME cycle, you are kindly reminded that you should fulfil the CME requirement before 31 December 2022. If you have less than 60 CME points by the end of this year, the non-compliance to CME/CPD requirement will not be remediable. Dear Associates MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (previously Part II) Examination, 18 Jan 2023 (Wednesday) Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (AKP) Exam will be held in HK on 18th Jan 2023. Candidates wishing to sit the above exam in HK please apply both online using the RCPCH website (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user) AND submit paper applications to our College. Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular. Application period 7 November 2022 (Mon) – 21 November 2022 (Mon) Examination Fee HK$8,800 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Attached please find an Application Form C for your use. Options for sitting this exam At your own home or workplace with online invigilation (pls refer to online invigilation quick guide attached) Note: Please note that there will NOT be any test centre option for this diet of exam. If you encounter difficulty in taking the exam in online invigilation format, please consider taking the same exam in Sep 2023 which the test centre option is expected to open at that time. Remarks: 1. All theory exams have been moved to computer-based testing since January 2015. Please refer to the RCPCH website for more CBT information: https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/theory-exams-mrcpch-dch-how-apply 2. Sample examination questions are available on the RCPCH website for candidates viewing. You do not need to wait until a specific examination opens to apply for an RCPCH online account.
