Review Committee
The Review Committee was appointed by the Council on 9th November 1993, with the chief role to act as an impartial party to look into matters relating particularly to examinations and associated complaints. It is the designated committee to handle appeals and complaints related to other committees of the College. The College Council will make the final decision based on the assessment of the Review Committee.
Function and Role
- To review matters arising from examination, accreditation of training and education, and any other matters directed by the Council, and advising the Council on actions to be taken.
- To follow the appeal mechanism endorsed by the College Council and handles appeals made within 6 weeks from the date of the results letter of the examinations or assessments.
- To grant and deny the request of the appellant or complainant based on technical grounds.
- In case of dispute, the chairperson shall act as the Chief Censor and shall co opt an independent committee to assess the allegations or grievances, and presents its recommendations for the discretion of the Council.
- To keep up-to-date record of the examination procedure so as to be able to deal with complaints as they arise.
