Dear all The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is going to organize an online workshop of the MRCPCH Foundation of Practice (FOP) examination to its overseas candidates. MRCPCH FOP & TAS Examination (Part I), 21 February 2024 (Wednesday)   The MRCPCH FOP & TAS examination will be held on 21 February 2024 (Wednesday).  The application will be opened from 4 Dec to 8 Dec.  Candidates wishing to sit the above exam in HK please apply both online using the RCPCH website ( https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user ) AND submit paper applications to our College.  Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular.  Application period 4 Dec to 8 Dec  Examination Fee FOP & TAS (both papers)        HK$7,600 FOP only (single paper)           HK$4,700 TAS only (single paper)           HK$4,700  Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians.  Attached please find an Application Form B for your use.    Options for sitting this exam 1.At your own home or workplace online invigilation (pls refer to online invigilation quick guide attached) Remarks: Please note that there will NOT be any test centre option for this diet of exam.  Remarks: 1.  All theory exams have been moved to computer-based testing since January 2015. MRCPCH Clinical Examination, 12-13 March 2024 (Tuesday to Wednesday)

  Dear Associates Attached please find a circular detailing the application procedures for the above exam. Application period starts from 27 November 2023 (Mon) to 8 December 2023 (Fri). Please fill in relevant application forms and submit to College Secretariat with cheque before the deadline.  * Please note that a candidate declaration form will need to be completed and submitted with Application Form D. Examination Fee HK$16,600 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Please note that candidates have a period of 7 years to complete the Clinical Examination from the date he/she passed all of the theory examinations. There is no limit to the number of attempts.  If candidates are not able to pass the Clinical Examination within the seven years, he/she has to re-sit the Applied Knowledge in Practice Examination in order to take the Clinical Examination again. Application period 6 November 2023 (Mon) - 19 November 2023 (SUN) *for applications for online invigilation, closing date is 10 November 2023 (Friday)     Examination Fee HK$8,800 Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Attached please find an Application Form C for your use.    Options for sitting this exam At your own home or workplace with online invigilation (pls refer to online invigilation quick guide attached) Note: Please note that there will NOT be any test centre option for this diet of exam. Dear Members/Fellows of the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians, The Paediatric Endocrinology (PE) is now recognised as a Paediatric Subspecialty in the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. It has been registered in the Specialist Register in The Medical Council of Hong Kong since February 2019. The PE Subspecialty Board now invites application from trainees for enrollment in the Training Programme. Please kindly find enclosed file of training application form. Please be reminded a concrete 3-year training pathway plan should be submitted for application. Subspecialty of Developmental-Behavioural Paediatrics (DBP) - Call for Application of Exit Assessment Dear Trainees of Subspecialty in Developmental-Behavioural Paediatrics (DBP), Hong Kong College of Paediatricians   The DBP Subspecialty is now calling for Application of Exit Assessment which will be held on 18th January 2024 (Thursday). The DBP Subspecialty Trainees who are eligible and would like to sit for the Exit Assessment please submit the application form and the required documents to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 51st Exit Assessment, 18 December 2023 (Monday)

Dear Members,  The next Exit Assessment of the College will be held on 18 December 2023 (Monday). Attached please find an announcement, application form, FORM A and FORM B for your information. Members wishing to sit this Exit Assessment can send your completed applications to the College from 18 September 2023 (Monday) onwards until 13 October 2023 (Friday).  Please be reminded to include FORM A (Record of Higher Training in Paediatrics) and FORM B (Checklist for Dissertations) in your submission. Both hard and soft copies of your dissertations should also be submitted. 1.For all trainees who started their basic paediatric training on or after 1 July 2009, a proof of completion of a formal Child Protection Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 2.For all trainees who started their higher paeditric training on or after 1st July 2020, a proof of completion of a formal Paediatric Palliative Care Course within their 6-year Paediatric Training Programme should be submitted along with the application. 3.Dissertations submitted for this Exit Assessment will be considered for the 2024 Best Dissertation Prize awarded by the College.
