CME Online (Dec 2022)

29/11/2022

CME Online (Dec 2022) – 44th blast email Dear Colleagues, I am sending you the e-blast notification of the Category A CME activities of the month of December. As this CME cycle comes to a close, most of our fellows have made the CME requirement. Dr NS Tsoi has been diligently reminding the small number of fellows who have not collected the required CME points. For this I have to thank Dr Tsoi for his herculean and selfless effort. The College secretariat would like to remind all fellows, members and associates to keep their contact information up to date.I would like to draw your attention also to the point that all Category A CME organizers (professional societies, associations, studies groups etc) are required to return the attendance record of a CME activity within four weeks. The College will credit the relevant merits to the individual usually within weeks. If you find that your CME attendances have not been credited to your account, it would be helpful if you can contact the organizing body to confirm if the CME attendance has been submitted to the College already. A new CME guideline will be implemented at the next CME cycle starting on 1 January 2023. The main changes are the requirement of online CME activities and also the addition a new category of Category E CME activities that aims at enhancing the wellbeing of our fellows. Please watch out for the posting of the new guidelines at the College website (Please click here) in due course. I would also like to invite you all to attend the 2022 Paediatric Update No 2 "Training the next generation of paediatricians - home and abroad" on 3 December 2022. The President of RCPCH, Dr Camilla Kingdon, and the RCPCH Officer for Safeguarding, Dr Alison Steele, will deliver two keynote talks on training. Please check your e-mail box for the Zoom link to the meeting. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous, successful New Year.   Date and Time Programme Topic Organizer Speaker(s) Link Enquiry Remarks CME pts 2/12/2022 (Fri)   2-3pm Lipid Management for High CV Risk Patients Hong Kong Medical Association Dr. Tsui Ping Tim Please click here to register HKMA Secretariat Tel: 2527 8452 Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
