Attached please find a circular detailing the application procedures for the above exam. Application period starts from 25 November 2024 (Mon) to 6 December 2024 (Fri). Please fill in relevant application forms and submit to College Secretariat with cheque before the deadline. 

* Please note that a candidate declaration form will need to be completed and submitted with Application Form D.

Examination Fee HK$16,600

Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians.

**Please be kindly reminded the changing in eligibility criteria will start at 1 July 2024: Applicants for entry to the Clicical Examination must be holding posts and eligible to practice in Hong Kong and have completed a period of training at least two and a half years form the date of graduation given on their diploma of medical qualification. Within a five-year peroid befor the date of the Clinical Examination, not less than 18 months of College accredited training and 12 months of unselected emergency paediatric patients.

Please note that candidates have a period of 7 years to complete the Clinical Examination from the date he/she passed all of the theory examinations. There is no limit to the number of attempts.  If candidates are not able to pass the Clinical Examination within the seven years, he/she has to re-sit the Applied Knowledge in Practice Examination in order to take the Clinical Examination again.

2024 Paediatric Update no. 3

Paediatric Update No. 3 is on 2 November 2024 (Saturday) at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  The theme is "Functional Neurological disorders".  Please refer to the event poster for details on the talks.

Time:     14:00 To 16:30

Venue: M Ground Room 2, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, 30 Gascoigne Road, Kowloon

Annual Scientific Meeting on 30 November 2024

The College will hold the ASM this year on 30 November 2024 to coincide with the AGM, Conferment ceremony and annual dinners.  The theme is "Frontiers in Paediatrics". There will be four themed talks on different specialties. The winners of the Best Dissertation and Best Young Investigator Prizes will also present their masterpieces. The meeting will start at 2 pm. Please come and join us for this Category A CME activity.

2024 Paediatric Update no. 4

Paediatric Update No. 4 is on 7 December 2024 (Saturday) at the Pao Yue Kong Auditorium at HKAM Building.  The theme is "Paediatric Cardiology".  Professor Michael Cheung of RCH Melbourne, who will visit HK for the accreditation of the Paediatric Cardiology Subspecialty, will speak during this update.  Three other esteemed local speakers will also deliver a rich program of different topics of the subspecialty.  The meeting will be chaired by Professor Cheung Yiu Fai and Dr Yung Tak Cheung.  All associates, members and fellows are welcome. 

Date:      7 December 2024 (Saturday)

Time:     14:00 To 17:00

Venue:   Pao Yue Kong Auditorium, G/F HKAM Building.
