To encourage research by colleagues, a Best Young Investigator Prize will be awarded annually to the best paper published between 1st July of previous year and 30th June of the awarding year.

Eligibility
Entry into the Best Young Investigator Prize competition is voluntary.

Applicants must be members of the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians (including Associate Members, Members and Fellows) AND aged 46 years or under as at 30th June 2015.

The papers should be written in English or translated into English if they are written in languages other than English.

Only the first author or corresponding author is eligible to apply. One paper is eligible for only one submission.  Each paper will be allowed to compete for only one prize.

The decision of the assessment panel will be final.

Submission deadline for the year 2015 Prize is 31st August 2015.  Interested colleagues can email their papers (PDF or MS Word format) together with the Application Form to the College Secretariat ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The Best Young Investigator Prize will be presented during the College annual dinner in December.

Please be informed that the second Paediatric Update seminar in 2015 will be held on 19 July 2015 (Sunday Afternoon) from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, M Block of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The seminar will be on "Medico-Legal Issues". Several exciting talks will be delivered by our local experts. We look forwards to your support and participation in this CME activity. THREE Category A CME points will be awarded. For programme details, please refer to the Poster.

The 2015 Annual scientific meeting will be held on 5 and 6 December 2015. Please mark your diary accordingly.
