MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (Part II) Examination, 21 May 2025(Wednesday)

Please be informed that the next MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (AKP) Exam will be held in HK on 21 May 2025.  Candidates wishing to sit the above exam in HK please apply both online using the RCPCH website (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/user) AND submit paper applications to our College.  

Please study carefully the details of application as outlined in the attached circular.

Application period

12 March 2025 (Wed) - 17 March 2025 (Mon)

Examination Fee

HK$8,800

Payment should be made payable to Hong Kong College of Paediatricians.

Attached please find an Application Form C for your use. 

Options for sitting this exam

1. 1. Test Centre: the exact location is to be announced by RCPCH.
      

Note: Please note that there will NOT be any online invigilation option for this diet of exam. 

Remarks:

1. All theory exams have been moved to computer-based testing since January 2015. Please refer to the RCPCH website for more CBT information: https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/theory-exams-mrcpch-dch-how-apply

2. Sample examination questions are available on the RCPCH website for candidates viewing.  Candidates sitting for CBT exams are strongly advised to study these sample questions at this link (https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/theory-exam-sample-papers).

3. Candidates can sit the MRCPCH theory exams in any order, and are allowed to take the Applied Knowledge in Practice Exam as their first MRCPCH theory exam.

4. Those candidates who have never taken an exam with the RCPCH and/or do not have an RCPCH number are advised to first register for an exam account with the RCPCH any time before the application period (preferably 10 working days before the application period opens).  You do not need to wait until a specific examination opens to apply for an RCPCH online account.  You are not able to apply for any exams online until your registration for an exam account is accepted.

Dear Members/Fellows of the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians,

The Subspecialty of Genetics & Genomics (Paediatrics) [GGP] is now recognised as a Paediatric Subspecialty in the Hong Kong College of Paediatricians, it has been registered in the Specialist Register in The Medical Council of Hong Kong since 1 November 2017. We are now calling for application enrollment of GGP trainees for Year 2025, please kindly find enclosed files of Training Programme and Application Form for your attention. Information is also available at the College website: www.paediatrician.org.hk

 Please be reminded that the training programme will commence from 1^st April 2025.

The deadline for enrollment of the GGP Training Programme will be on 16 Jan 2025, Thursday ,5:00 pm. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.
